Full gold hartmann mosquito forceps feature fine tips, short, and fully serrated jaws used as a clamping instrument to halt blood flow so that cauterization or ligation can be performed. “Hartmann” hemostat mosquito forceps are used as both a hemostat and for fine tissue dissection in shallow wounds and procedures. They are also used for holding small, fine sutures. Hartmann Mosquito Forceps are shorter and heavier than halsted mosquito forceps. Ratcheted handles can be locked in multiple positions in order to maintain variable levels of constant pressure. Forged from durable stainless steel and have large finger loops with serrated jaws that are ideal for grasping and holding small objects securely. Easy to clean and store in any tackle box, backpack, belt, pocket + other outdoor gear.
